AetherCon Tournaments

Who will take home the glory? Who will walk away with the prizes? Will it be you? In order to find out you will need to enter one of the three tournaments at AetherCon. This year we are featuring the games Call of Cthulhu, Pathfinder and Savage Worlds. Players wanting a shot at the laurels of victory need to enter the Friday open field for each tourney. They will then be judged on their knowledge of the rules, their roleplaying ability, and their teamwork as a member of a party in accomplishing the goal set before them. The best of those will advance to Saturday and the best of those will go on to Sunday's Final Table where all will be decided. Read on for a preview of each.

The Pathinder tournament scenario, written by Brian Shocklee, takes the party to that hotbed of political intrigue, Brevoy, where guilt and innocence are only means to an end.

"No enterprise is more likely to succeed than one concealed from the enemy until it is ripe for execution." - Niccolo Machiavelli

The Savage Worlds tournament scenario, written by author M.J. Holmes (Tyme and Yon Serpent), calls on the party to lift the curse of immortality from three constables so that they may finally retire well past time.

"Immortality - a fate worse than death." - Edgar A. Shoaff
